Engine Start
- Battery Master – on
- Fire System – armed
- Fuel Pumps – on, check pressure
- Ignition – on
- Oil Accumulator – open, check pressure
- Starter – engage
- Gauges – check
- Radiator fan – as neccesary
Engine Shutdown
- Oil Accumulator – close
- Fuel pumps – off
- Ignition – off
- Radiator fan – off
- Fire System – disarm
- Battery Master – off
Before each session
- Check tire pressures
- Torque lugnuts – 75#
- Check for fluid leaks
- Check battery charge
Before each weekend
- Change engine oil
- Check all fluids
- Check brake pads
- Inspect sparkplugs and wires
- Adjust valve clearances
- Compression check, leak down
- Drain catch bottles
- Charge batteries
- Check fire bottle pressure
- Lube chassis
Take to track – car
